Welcome to Costigliole d'Asti, a pearl nestled among beautiful hills
The village "rotates" around the majestic castle now owned by the city and with almost a millenary history.
At the end of the 18th century it was owned by the Marquis Filippo Asinari, a politician and diplomat who dedicated his time and passion to wine.
The castle is home to numerous events dedicated to wine and vegetables, on which Costigliole bases its economy.
The Barbera wine, accompanied by Ravioli, is the protagonist of the "old carnival" that is celebrated on the first Sunday of Lent in the hamlet Motta.
In addition to the beauties and points of interest that you will find listed here, we invite the visitor to discover the Castle - wonderful building of medieval origin that hosted in its history personages of the caliber of Vittorio Amedeo III and the Countess of Castiglione - the Paths of the Barbera wine and the Historical Pylon.
